A wonderful morning was had yesterday celebrating the launch of the Community Art Project at St Margarets Station. A number of the artists, project sponsors and supporters came together to marvel at the transformation of a rather run down signal box. This was truly a Community project with sponsorship from local Maltsters, French & Jupps and Signage Company, Universal Signs. Cup Cakes were supplied by local Cafe, Libby's. The two local Primary Schools, St John the Baptist and St Andrews took part and had four pieces selected. All artists had to call St Margarets their local station.. A team from Greater Anglia worked hard behind the scenes to get the pieces installed.
